 Personal Injury

Advising and representing clients in personal injury cases has been a major part of the work undertaken by Fenners Chambers since its foundation in 1973.

The Personal Injury Group offers a broad range of services, including seminars on topics of interest to both branches of the profession and makes full use of the resources available to us through membership of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Personal Injury Bar Association (PIBA).

We advise and represent Claimants in all forms of injury claims, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, claims arising from industrial illness and occupational disease, claims against occupiers and local authorities and claims arising out of clinical negligence.

In addition we also provide a service to insurance companies and Defendants through our established links with local firms thoughout East Anglia and the East Midlands.

‘Legal 500 2009’“Fenners excels in personal injury and clinical negligence where Paul Hollow is said to give sound, practical advice couched without defence provisos” and Roderick Spinks specialises in employers’ liability and is a very capable and persuasive advocate”.

As an established set in the region, the Personal Injury Group has developed good connections with medical specialists and other expert witnesses.

All members of the team are willing to undertake work on a 'Conditional Fee basis'. A copy of our standard "Terms of Engagement" can be obtained by contacting our chambers in Cambridge. We use the current PIBA Conditional Fee Agreement, a copy of which can be seen at:

Fenners Chambers offer a full range of services and facilities to clients with a disability, including accessible conference rooms, or meeting at solicitors' offices or the client's home where this is more appropriate and better suited to the client's needs.
