The Lay Client

We realise that for the lay client litigation can be a new and worrying experience and we welcome the opportunity of a personal meeting. An early conference can be valuable, enabling us to provide an impartial assessment of the client and the case, and enhancing the client's appreciation of the issues and confidence in the legal team. We are always happy to review cases as they progress. We believe that regular reviews result in the most effective and economic deployment of our skills for the lay client.

Both our Cambridge and Peterborough premises are readily accessible. A number of conference rooms are available, with access and facilities for the disabled. Please telephone the Clerks if you have any concerns about access for your clients. There is ample on-site car parking at Cambridge.

Alternatively, we will be pleased to attend conferences at solicitors' offices. Where the dispute concerns property, or the client is disabled, a conference at the client's premises may be more convenient.
