The Fenners Approach Whilst grounded in the common law tradition, Fenners Chambers is now organised around teams of barristers, led by a senior member of chambers and specialising in different areas of work: Business & Contract; Crime; Employment; Family; Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence; Property, Planning & Environment and Police Law. Within each team there is further individual specialisation.
The degree of specialisation varies from member to member and some members are prepared to undertake work, especially advocacy, in certain areas outside their main specialisations. In particular, younger members often cover a broad spectrum of work until their specialisation is sufficiently well defined.
Fenners' administration team, headed by our Senior Clerk, Michael Dean, is committed to working with clients to ensure that our service is of the highest standard. Should you feel that, as a professional client, you have not received the service you expected, we would encourage you to draw this to the attention of Michael. We have a set procedure for reviewing concerns and will endeavour to resolve any issues you wish to raise. In any event, we welcome client's observations on how we can improve our service in the future, together with any comments you may have on the service you have received in the past.
Chambers has developed a Quality Management Sytem that ensures attention to the way any case is handled throughout it's life in chambers. In June 2004 Fenners was awarded the Legal Services Commisions specialist standard of excellence 'Quality Mark' .
